Overall schedule

This is the preliminary schedule for EMDGC2023

August 17-18 – preparation days – on these days the final touches will be made on the course, but players can already start practicing. Note that on these days the Tournament Center and other facilities will be closed for players, and everyone entering the park will need to do that through the main entry gates by purchasing an entry ticket.

August 19-20 – pre-tournament days and check-in – the tournament course will be completely set up and playable by players. The Tournament Center and other tournament facilities will be open, and players and registered non-players will be able to enter the park through the TC. Arriving players and non-players will be required to proceed to the TC for check-in.

August 21-22 – official practice days and check-in – players will need to book tee-times for practicing, the Tournament Center and other facilities are open, and players can access the course through the Tournament Center. Check-in deadline for all players is August 21, 18:00 at the TC – players not meeting this deadline will be considered as not present at the event. In well justified and exceptional cases, requested in writing a few days before arrival, players will be able to do a late check-in on August 22, by 10:00 at the TC.

August 22, late afternoon / evening (time t.b.d.) – Opening Ceremony and Players’ Meeting

August 23-26 – Official tournament days

August 26, evening – Award ceremony and closing party

August 27 – Official Doubles event – Doubles will be played in an “alternate best-shot modus”, in two divisions: open, mixed (one male and one female team member OR two female team members).
